CEU Requirements: NY-NYDEC
LOOK! at the number of CEUs a course earns per category. Many courses are NOT approved for 1 CEU. Some are approved for 0.75 CEU per category and some for 0.5 CEU.
Make sure your license information is entered before attempting a course. Our system cannot report incomplete attendance information to the state and the NYSDEC does not allow attendees to retroactively be included in previous attendance reports.
NYSDEC requires that you spend a minimum of 60 minutes in each course and pass the final quiz with a score of at least 70%.
There is no restriction on the number of CEUs that can be earned from online training. However,
you may not repeat a course for CEUs during a three-year license renewal period and
you may not earn more than 7 CEUs in a single day. Also, courses must be completed within 6 months of the start date.
Do not print a certificate online. NYSDEC requires certificates to be original signed forms. Attendance is reported and certificates sent by mail on the 1st and 16th of each month. Make sure the mailing address in your PestWeb account is correct.
