MUST HOLD A CERTIFIED OPERATOR LICENSE SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Manager-in-Training This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and develop skills in all aspects of pest control and fumigation operations. As a Manager-in-Training, you will work closely with experienced managers and technicians, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge to prepare you for a leadership role within our company. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship, allowing you to grow your career in the pest control industry ABOUT THE PEST GROUP: The PEST Group is North America's largest fumigation company. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist and shadow experienced managers in overseeing daily operations of the pest control and fumigation business. • Learn and understand the various techniques, tools, and chemicals used in pest control and fumigation processes. • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective pest control strategies and fumigation plans. • Assist in coordinating and scheduling fumigation projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion. • Conduct inspections and assessments of pest infestation levels, assisting in determining appropriate treatment methods. • Assist in managing a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. • Learn and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices during pest control and fumigation activities. • Assist in maintaining accurate records of pest control activities, treatment details, and client information. • Support customer service efforts by effectively communicating with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing recommendations. • Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and advancements in the pest control and fumigation industry. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. QUALIFICATIONS: • Passion for the pest control industry and a strong desire to pursue a management career within the field. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and effectively interact with clients. • Demonstrated leadership potential, with a proactive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire others. • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. • Willingness to relocate to different branch locations based on business needs. • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required. • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, if necessary. • Ability to adapt to changing industry regulations, technologies, and best practices. • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using pest control software and applications. • Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving aptitude. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Walking, sitting, standing, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, stepping, climbing, reaching, twisting, turning, grasping, squeezing, pulling, stretching, and balancing. • Lift, hold, and/ or move up to 100 lbs or greater. • Perform duties outdoors in all weather and in various temperatures and conditions. • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. • Ability to wear SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus)
