Not only are these lamps state-of-the-art, but they are at the zenith of UV technology for increasing Pulling Power. Designed to work at the specific wavelength that is proven to be most attractive to flying insects.
PestWest lamps are built to conform with the strict regulations which control the amount of mercury and lead used in the manufacturing of the tube, making them some of the lowest mercury bearing UV lamps on the market. The unique phosphor-mix does not require the hazardous material lead, to improve its performance. That, coupled with other constructional techniques, results in the Quantum BL UV tube being totally lead-free and way ahead of the regulatory curve.
