Description
For homes that require a higher rate of airflow, the Powered Temp Vent is the ideal choice. Powered vents are quick, convenient and economical when it comes to controlling moisture and odor problems. Air is suctioned out of the crawl space and replaced with fresh outside air. Negative pressure helps prevent dampness and odor from rising into living areas of the home.
Easy to install in standard 8" x 16" block openings, no mortar is required. Each unit is low voltage so no electrician is required (needs accessible GFCI outlet). Totally enclosed motors feature a custom plug and are 0.01 HP rated (Quiet Model) or 0.017 HP rated (High Output Model) for continuous operation. These motors are 24VAC.
Powered vents should be placed on one side of the house, with non-powered vents that act as intake vents on all remaining sides.
