The Operations Manager will lead our field team of mosquito control experts who travel to customer homes to provide recurring outdoor pest control services. Job Description The Operations Manager must maintain current and valid state certifications/licenses to enable the business to service residential and commercial properties. The Commercial Pesticide Applicator directly services customers, is responsible for training our technicians, and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations, in addition to rules detailed on pesticide labels. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Have commercial pesticide applicator certification/license or be able to pass exam (Category 7D) Provide expert advice to franchise business owner, field technicians and customers on outdoor pest control Train and supervise technicians according to federal, state and local regulations Provide expert outdoor pest control service to customers Maintain licensing requirements and proficiency to conduct Mosquito Joe services Ensure company is in compliance with federal, state and local regulations Education and Experience Pest control knowledge Maintain a current and valid commercial pesticide applicator certification/license Valid driver’s license Key Competencies Safe driving record in professional setting Self-confident Professional Friendly Good customer service skills Detail oriented Reliable Compensation Package We are looking for an energetic, self-starter who welcomes the opportunity to grow the customer base and be rewarded for those efforts. This position offers the stability of a base salary but also gives the selected candidate the chance to determine their earnings based upon performance bonuses and incentives. If you like working outdoors but also enjoy talking with the public then this may be for you. When a territory is new you have to spend as much time marketing as you do servicing customers. Must be willing to travel to Topeka, KS for an in person interview and periodically for training/meetings. $40K per year plus bonuses. 4 Weeks paid vacation each year during the off season!!!
