ROUTE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As part of the Pest Division team, you will play a hands-on, critical role in providing pest solutions to our customer’s homes and businesses. You will be working closely with our office and management team. Ideal candidates should be licensed with either a Structural Pest Control Board Branch 2 Field Representative License or a Branch 2 & 3 Applicator’s License. The key will be how well you fit in with our service culture. Position Summary: We are looking for an energetic, organized, and reliable person to work in our Pest Team out of our Santa Clarita office. You will be performing pest management services to client structures through the use of integrated pest management techniques and chemical application in an efficient, successful and friendly manner. Services will be performed with safety as a priority. Key result areas include but are not limited to the following: 1. Delivering an EXTRAordinary level of customer service. 2. Inspecting and carefully applying pesticides to structures according to protocols, safety procedures and label instructions. 3. Safely drive company vehicle to customers houses or places of business, exemplifying our company’s core values. 4. Actively look for opportunities to add new sales/customers through contact with current customers and new contacts while on route or in direct sales contacts with neighbors and business owners on route. 5. Complete required production forms at end of daily route. 6. Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition. (A comprehensive job description will be provided) Required Skills and Experience: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and write English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent after a being taught. A clean DMV record required at first interview. PREFERRED SKILLS: Organized, good communicator, positive attitude & quick learner. Ability to work well under pressure. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting, walking, standing, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Able and willing to work in confined places such as attics, crawlspaces, and reasonable heights. Working outdoors in Santa Clarita weather year-round is a must.
