Bayer Launches Transformational New Outdoor Perimeter Control Product – Suspend® PolyZone™
Unique formulation technology enables controlled release, protecting the product from the elements and providing up to 90 days of residual control outdoors
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (October 20, 2011) – Environmental Science, a business unit of Bayer CropScience LP, has launched Suspend® PolyZone™, a new outdoor perimeter liquid spray that uses an innovative formulation technology to perform more effectively than the competition for longer periods of time in both residential and commercial settings.

Suspend PolyZone employs a unique formulation technology that slowly releases its active ingredient enabling it to evenly disperse. Using a proprietary polymer layer developed by Bayer, this long-lasting formula adheres the active ingredient to the targeted area, as well as surrounds it like a shield against weather, irrigation, and mechanical interference. As the polymer wears away over time, the active ingredient remains secure, resisting erosion and lasting on average 30 percent longer than microcap formulations.
