Did You Know?

Houseflies can taste with their feet. With taste buds on the ends of those little legs, they’re getting a good sampling of your food each time they land on your picnic table. The world’s largest insect is big enough to eat carrots. A cricket-like creature with a wingspan of seven inches, the giant weta is found only on Little Barrier Island in New Zealand.
