JOB DESCRIPTION - Pest / Termite Control Service Technician. MUST HOLD CURRENT LICENSES IN: general pest, termite inspections and termite treatments. If you do not currently hold a termite license, you would need to be willing to obtain this within 90 days of hire. This position is ideal for someone living in South or central Phoenix areas or Scottsdale. We are seeking an energetic, positive individual to fill a full time position in Pest Control. You must be dependable, hard working and self motivated. We strive for excellent customer satisfaction so this must come naturally for you. We require back ground investigations on all employees so you must have a clean back ground and driving record. REPORTS TO: Owner/Manager GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides pest management services to homeowners and businesses. Takes advantage of opportunities to sell additional company services to existing customers and introduces himself/herself and the company to new businesses and homeowners in the territory. Delivers pest management services in accordance with company policy and within governmental regulations. Maintains company vehicle as requested. Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with customers. Is proactive in solving customer pest problems. Communicates effectively with fellow employees and customers. Paperwork is accurate thorough and on time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have or be willing to gain knowledge of insects, rodents and other skills. Must have knowledge of pest control, rodent control, termits, products, services and all treatments we offer. Must have knowledge of State regulations and safety procedures. Must be detailed, observant and able to follow safety directions. Must use required personal protection equipment. Must have ability to apply pesticides and rodenticides within the confines of the law. Must be able to visually inspect for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc. Must submit paperwork and customer payments, on time and in proper order. Must have excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills. Must have basic skills in reading, writing & math. Must follow directions for mixing, calculating formulations & loading tanks. Must promote a friendly, and professional demeanor with customers and fellow employees. Must be neat, clean, and professional in appearance and customer service. MUST HAVE THE STAMINA NEEDED TO OPERATE EQUIPMENT AND WORK OUTDOORS IN THE HEAT. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: At least 18 years of Age. Must be a licensed certified applicator. High School diploma or equivalent. Able to work before 8:00 am or after 5 pm and an occasional Saturday. Valid Arizona Driver's license and clean driving record. COMPENSATION: For experienced candidates, starting salary is 42k per year, plus commission! Total compensation for the year is just under 50k. We provide a work truck and a gas card for company business. We provide paid holidays and paid vacation. We do not offer health benefits at this time as we put more of the $$$ in your hands.
