Earwigs Got Wings?
I have an insect that I believe is a female earwig except she has long wings that extend all the way to the end of her cerci. She has the long antenna coming from just below her eyes and the cerci and the obvious segments on her ventral side. She is a classic earwig except for the long wings? Is there another insect I am overlooking for identification?

Take The Fight To Them
I am having problems with earwigs at one of the houses I treat. I have put out Demon Max at 1% around the perimeter of the house, Drione in the weep holes and Demand CS inside the house on the baseboards. None of this has worked and there are still earwigs. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Beating Back The Bugs
I am trying to develop the best approach to external pest control in a residential setting. I want to avoid the problem of fracturing ant colonies and contaminating dry baits with liquid pesticides. My strategy now is to use a non repellent like Talstar One on the outside of the house and as a perimeter spray 2 or 3 ft. out. For the rest of the yard I would use Talstar PL and Seven-5 bait for c...

Putting the Pinch Back On Them
I have moved into a newly constructed home in February of this year, and I am having a problem with a large number of earwigs. They seem to be everywhere in the house. I have treated the outside and inside with several newer insecticides. What would you suggest I do to get rid of, or vastly reduce the numbers of these insects?

Put the Pinch on These Guys
I would like to know the best method of treating for earwigs, as I have run into a lot of them lately. I hear their main source of food is termites. I can believe this because I do find termites in most cases when I run into earwigs. Please give me some information on them. Thanks

Earwigs in the Lanes
I have a brand new acct.(bowling Alley) that is infested with earwigs. I have checked for moisture and there really isn't any. They don't have any landscape timbers or mulch near the building, just pinestraw. They do have a few cracks that can't be sealed because they are on the bowling lanes. I mean this place has hundreds a day. I have tried wettable powder and micro-incapsulated products. No...
