When I was a kid living in London and we got flies in the living room flying around the ceiling light, my mum would get an area spray and spray around the room while we were in there. Are there area sprays like this now? If a client lives near a trash area outside and is constantly getting flies in the house, would this be the best approach? I understand the sanitation aspect, but the custom...

What are some insecticides available for house flies? I know foggers are not recommended. I’m assuming lures are the most effective.

Our thought process for the past decade or two has been to mount lights away from the building with the light directed to the spot that needed illumination and/or the type of light used such as high pressure sodium vapor verses mercury vapor. Mercury vapor has since been removed from the market place. Besides high pressure sodium vapor, metal halide and LED are what's on the market today. Ho...

I have a customer that lives in dairy country. Every year, they have thousands of flies that land on their house siding, presumably for the heat. Residual fly barf/poop dots their external siding, windows and doors. Many flies get inside, but the customers has taken measures to exclude them. They want me to prevent them from landing on their siding or at least kill or trap them once they do...

I have a restaurant that has fruit flies. I've been in at night, used Invade in the drains and scrubbed them. I have used Gentrol and Suspend SC, a dust in walls that I couldn't treat, and have covered everything and fogged. They will be knocked back and then they always seem to come back. Not sure what I am missing. I thought breaking the hatch would help and I feel I've done that. There...

I service a bagel store in NYC with a bad fruit fly problem and possibly some phorid flies. I have pointed out some possible infestation sites, but remediation would be difficult and expensive. So I would like to be sure. Should I be able to find larvae and/or pupae at these sites? If so, my suggestions would be taken much more seriously.

We volunteer at a tiger farm. They have a pit with the excess food from the tiger, which flies obviously love. The dogs go into the pit for treats so we would like ideas on how to treat the pit safely without hurting the dogs. Thank you so much.

I need fly lights for a subway that is connected to a liquor store. It's all open to go into either one and there are two entrances, one for the subway and one for the store. Do I need a fly light over each door opening and one inside the subway? If so what kind of fly lights should I use?

I have a question in regards to service for cluster flies. We would like to use Talstar Pro but it does not list cluster flies, but does list flies. Do you know if this is good for cluster flies or do you have another option that you have heard works well for cluster flies?

Summer is gone but all the little biting, flying
insects are still here in Rio de Janeiro. It's very hard to identify the species, but I have a thought that we're dealing with small flies and biting midges. Can you give me some insights on these pests and is there a specific protocol to control them? What else can be done about these unwelcome guys?

My question has to do with flies and UV rays. The customer is a donut and coffee business that displays its donuts with UV emitting lights. There are two other stores, one a convenience store the other a pizza parlor. Neither have a contract with us. The UV lights attract flies from all over the establishment to the display case. We are installing two fly lights to help, but they cannot replace...

I have flies that just appeared from one day to the next - regular black, normal flies. They are mostly on the kitchen and dining room window sills, with about 50-100 flies on each sill and quite a few of them dead. But, there are some still flying around which can be very irritating!
What is the best solution and why the sudden appearance?
